Neumati.co handles returns through specific wholesale dealer guidelines, as well as retail terms depending on whether the tire is being returned new/unmounted or submitted for a warranty claim:
1. General Return Conditions (Unmounted / New Tires)
-
Condition: Tires must be new, unused, unmounted, and undamaged. Once a tire has been mounted onto a wheel or driven on, it is no longer eligible for a standard return.
-
Timeframe: Standard return windows for non-defective, unmounted tires typically run 30 days from delivery.
-
Restocking Fees & Freight:
-
If the return is due to a customer/dealer error (e.g., ordered wrong size, customer canceled), a restocking fee (often ranging from 10% to 15% or a flat rate depending on the agreement) and local delivery/freight charges may apply.
-
If Neumati.co shipped the incorrect tire or an item arrived damaged, the restocking fee and return freight costs are waived.
-
2. Defective Tires & Warranty Returns
-
Manufacturer Warranty Handling: Tires ship from our network of over 500 warehouses across the U.S., and we pass through original manufacturer warranties (e.g., Kenda, Delinte, Advanta, Americus).
-
Claims Process:
-
If a tire is mounted and exhibits a manufacturing defect, ride complaint (within initial tread wear limits, usually the first 2/32”), or severe uniformity issue, a warranty claim must be submitted through your dealer account.
-
Required documentation typically includes the original purchase receipt, vehicle mileage at installation and removal, and tire rotation records for tread life claims.
-
Credit or prorated replacement is granted after inspection according to the specific manufacturer's adjustment terms.
